Caskey Hunsader (Creator & Writer) wrote Fat Guy based on his personal experience as an aspiring actor in New York after moving to the city from Wisconsin several years ago.

Hunsader was overwhelmed by the positive reactions from season one, now available to view on the show’s official website (www.fatguyshow.com). “We just put the shows out there with a pretty minimal marketing budget and suddenly we were getting thousands of views from all over the world. It’s been really amazing.”

Season one was funded out of pocket by Hunsader and now the show is looking to it’s audience to help create season two. The Kickstarter campaign is currently taking pledges until late April. Anyone interested in supporting the show can go to www.fatguyshow.com/support to learn more. Supporters will be rewarded with items including; DVDs of season one, signed shooting scripts, walk-on role opportunities and more.

The cast includes fellow New York theater actors Eva Shure as Caskey’s fashionista best friend, Kristin Maloney as his neurotic agent, Andrew Wehling as Caskey’s ex-boyfriend, and Kelly Shoemaker, a waitress by day/cabaret singer by night. Season two will introduce even more characters and an expanded schedule with over 20 planned episodes.
